Denise Gilliland, Vice President of Accounting Services, oversees The Webb Companies’ Accounting Department, provides financial accounting for the downtown real estate portfolio, and serves as the Human Resources Director. She joined the team in 2005 as a Property Management Accountant and was soon promoted to Senior Accountant for the downtown real estate portfolio. In early 2021, she stepped away briefly to serve as Controller in another industry. She rejoined The Webb Companies in late 2022 in her current role.
In addition to her business career, Denise has served in various capacities Nicholas County in Carlisle, KY. She has volunteered as Secretary for the Elementary School Budget Committee, as a parent member of the Site Based Council for the High School, as Secretary/School Board Liaison for the Marching Band. She retired in 2021 as Worship Director with Carlisle Christian Church. For over 20 years Denise has been involved with Ichthus Christian Music Festival where she currently serves as Assistant Festival Director.
Raised in southeast Ohio, Denise attended Berea College where she studied Business and Economics. She lives in Carlisle with her husband, has two married sons, and two grandchildren.
