One of the leading Central Kentucky commercial real estate firms, The Webb Companies has evolved considerably in the 40 years since it was founded by brothers Donald and Dudley Webb. Both attorneys turned developers, the Webb brothers uncovered a talent and passion for real estate development after building a duplex and turning a sizeable profit within four months.
Under their leadership, The Webb Companies became one of the largest real estate development organizations in the country. Its projects stretched from California to Maine and Chicago down to Key West, ranging from mixed-use complexes, hotels and office parks to retail centers, warehouse and distribution facilities, residential high-rises and marinas.
The Webb Companies’ developments remain among Lexington’s most recognized and beloved landmarks, including the Lexington Financial Center’s big blue tower, Victorian Square, Festival Market, Lexington Radisson (now the Hilton) and Lexington Green. The Webb Companies’ newest landmark development is CentrePointe, an exciting mixed-use project being planned for the core of downtown Lexington.
Through these developments, The Webb Companies cultivated a high level of expertise in property management & leasing, and began concentrating more on this specialty in the early 1990s. Today, The Webb Companies is a full-service commercial real estate firm, offering construction, marketing, leasing, brokerage, property management, tenant representation and ancillary real estate functions.
