Woodford Webb is a private investor and serves as President of The Webb Companies. He a graduate of Washington & Lee University, the University of Kentucky (M.B.A.); and the Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law (Juris Doctor). While in law school, he served as General Issue Editor of the Northern Kentucky Law Review and received book awards in Estate Planning, Complex Litigation and Contracts II. He also served as an extern for then Chief Judge William O. Bertelsman of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. Woodford began in the maintenance division and through the years served in numerous capacities, including positions in the leasing and property management divisions. He attained the designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1994. In May, 2008, he was awarded one of the "Top 20 under 40" Rising Star awards by the Lexington Young Professional Association. Woodford currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Kentucky Lottery Corporation (Louisville, KY) and is the Immediate Past Chairman of the Board of Commerce Lexington, formerly the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the Board of Directors of The Webb Companies, Hospice of the Bluegrass (board Secretary 2009-2010), Evergreen Rehabilitation, Inc. (Louisville, KY), the Downtown Lexington Corporation (DLC), the Bluegrass Community Foundation, and is an advisory director of the Triangle Foundation and the Bluegrass Miracle League. He served as the 2009 Chairman of the Board of Commerce Lexington, Inc. and was President of the Downtown Lexington Corporation in 2007 & 2008. He is a former Organizer and director of First Security Bank of Lexington, a former director of the Lexington History Museum, the Lexington Humane Society, and a former advisory board member of Business Lexington. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald W. Webb, of Vero Beach, FL, and is married to Kelli G. Webb. | |||||||
