The Webb Companies was founded in 1972 by brothers R. Dudley Webb and Donald W. Webb.
In the early years, Donald and Dudley, both attorneys turned developers, began by building
apartments and duplexes, then quickly modified their area of concentration to quality
office, warehouse, distribution and residential developments primarily in Kentucky.
In the years since, The Webb Companies became responsible for over one billion dollars
in new and rehabilitated commercial and residential developments across the United States.
In July 1987, The Wall Street Journal published a feature article on the Kentucky brothers
in its "Who's News" section. Link To Article:
"Two Kentucky Brothers Mine Real Estate". In 1986, Building Design and Construction
magazine named The Webb Companies as the third largest diversified commercial real estate
developer in the United States in construction volume.
